    The animals figures shown in the photos are purchased directly from artisans in Thailand by a wholesaler in Illinois. They are hand-carved from non-endangered species and make realistic sounds when stroked with the wood peg (frog, cricket, alligator, pig) or blown into (elephant and owl). They are an attractive addition to any teacher's or home desk.

    These frogs come in two sizes: small (about 2 inches long), and large (about 6 inches long), oak stained or realistically painted.

    Jim Dixon has put together a book of over 120 original Biology Poems and Songs covering nearly every aspect of the life sciences.
